What we Offer..

We are based in a small rural village between Tarporley and Nantwich and within easy reach of the A49 and A51. We have lovely countryside walks on the doorstep but can cater for clients within a 15 mile radius however busy slots around lunch-time may not always be available to those living further away.

Greyt Escapes is a small venture that doesn't take on large numbers of clients and so ensuring your pet will receive all of our attention and the highest possible level of care. 'Meet and Greets' are offered to all new clients where your dog can have the chance to meet us prior to any walking taking place and you can ask us any questions about the service.

Dog Walking - We prefer to give our dogs individual attention however we are happy to walk dogs from the same family together or can offer small pack walks (maximum 4 dogs) with other agreeable clients or with my own dogs if they get along. We feel that limiting the amount of dogs is safer and allows us the best chance of giving your dog our full attention for the duration of the visit.

Visits are operated during 3 hour timeframes rather than exact times as most people working 9-5 want lunchtime walks. Timeframes are Early 8am - 11am, Midday 11am - 2pm, Afternoon 2pm - 5pm and Evening 5pm - 8pm.

We try to vary your dog's walk, explore new places and get off road and away from traffic wherever we can. If you would like to know where your dog has walked I can track the walk using GPS and make it available to you.

For outings that require travel all we ask is that your dog is good to travel restrained in a car either with a dog seat belt or crate.

For Dog Jogs your dog needs to be comfortable running alongside or in front of a human and wear a well fitting harness. If your dog hasn't tried running before but you think it might suit them then I'm willing to give it a try! Runs can be from 40 minutes upwards with about 10 minutes spent warming up and cooling down. Pace and amount of time spent running is dictated by your dog's level of fitness, longer runs can be negotiated but please note, I don't run dogs in hot weather.

When we return from our walk we will towel off your dog if needed, ensure they are comfortable and make sure fresh water is available, taking a few minutes to settle them back in before we leave.

Food can be put out and oral medication administered if requested.

Pet-Sitting  - A bespoke service at your request. Pet-sitting can be for an individual pet or a number of different pets and can be tailored to suit your requirements from one daily visit to several visits per day, overnight stays for one night or several nights at a time. Puppies that are too young for walks can be visited for some attention, a chance to relieve themselves and feeding before settling back in.

Equine Services - Holiday cover on request to suit your requirements, can include turning out, bringing in, rug changes, basic grooming, mucking out, poo picking the paddock. Rest assured I have ridden and owned horses my whole life from Welsh Section A's to Thoroughbreds, so I have the experience to provide your horse with knowledgeable, hands on care.
